T-Gym is the latest project to promote physical activity developed by Tempo Livre through its Sports Services. It is an occupational gymnastics program aimed at companies.
Following its logic of action, and within the scope of its mission to encourage the practice of physical activity and the adoption of healthy lifestyles, the Tempo Livre It has already been in the field, since May, of a pilot project of Labor Gymnastics, called T-Gym, which, in this initial phase, has the collaboration of two leading companies in the local economic fabric – Lameirinho and Vimágua – where the experimental sessions and the application of the technical model that is intended to be extended to all interested parties from September.
Aware of the current context, the reflections of physical inactivity on the health of workers, on their income and performance, as well as the growing demands felt by companies, with regard to the satisfaction, health and well-being of their teams, the Tempo Livre launches this model project that wants to stand out in this area of intervention.
To mark this pilot partnership, the Chairman of the Board of Tempo Livre, Amadeu Portilha, visited Lameirinho and Vimágua, receiving very positive comments from the representatives of the two companies and strongly encouraging the initiative.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vimágua, Armindo Costa e Silva, and the Director of Lameirinho, Miguel Coelho Lima, expressed their satisfaction with the implementation of the pilot project in their companies, which has resulted in a significant adhesion of their employees, encouraging Tempo Livre to continue the project, not only because of its importance for the physical and mental well-being of its employees, but fundamentally because they provide an invaluable complementary service to the work carried out in these companies.
Amadeu Portilha reinforced the unequivocal will of Tempo Livre to bet heavily on this new segment of promotion of regular physical activity for the adult and active population, and to soon, based on the preliminary results of this pilot study, present a consistent service offer to the entire business fabric of Guimarães from next september.
