Water aerobics offers practitioners a set of benefits, which above all will promote a better quality of life. This aspect is based on the execution of numerous rhythmic exercises in the water, taking full advantage of the benefits of Hidro, accompanied with music. From the simplest to the most complex, classes can have different formats: “hydro power”, interval training, choreographies, “kick-boxing”, “hydro-step”, located, hydro circuit, etc.

Hydrotherapy consists of exercises and manipulations in water, using scientifically experienced therapeutic techniques. These techniques are based on concepts of Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics and take advantage of the physical properties of water, particularly buoyancy (buoyancy effect), hydrostatic pressure and turbulence, as well as the density substantially different from that of air. The treatment is effective when the water is heated to a temperature that is pleasant to the individual, from 31ºC to 33 ° C, providing a pattern of neurological and muscular relaxation. Hydrotherapy is effective in neurological, musculoskeletal and cardio-respiratory pathologies, aiming at functional recovery and motor re-education.

HYDROTHERAPY
  • Lesson for small groups of adults with health problems or associated injuries. Exercises performed in heated water provide muscle relaxation, pain relief, reduction of muscle spasms, in addition to facilitating joint movement, which makes it possible to work large muscle groups, in large ranges of motion and in different directions at the same time safely.
