A Tempo Livre, through the Center for Sports Studies of Guimarães (CEDG), will organize the 2nd Session of the II Journeys of Physical Exercise and Health in pre and post-partum.
The days that will take place on October 23, aim to make women aware of the changes that occur during pre and postpartum, informing about the different health care they can and should adopt to improve their quality of life and your well-being. It is also intended to demystify fears and fears in relation to the practice of physical activity in pre and postpartum, and raise awareness of the importance of guided physical exercise.
This second session, which once again counts as the support of the Hospital da Senhora da Oliveira – Guimarães, will have the following themes: water activities in pre and postpartum, dietary recommendations, hypnobirthing, birth plan and urinary incontinence in pregnancy.
Speakers will be: Rita Guimarães (PE teacher), Ana Catarina Cunha (nutritionist) and also Margarida Ferreira, Raquel Silva, Rita Ramos and Sofia Leite, all of them specialist nurses in Maternal Health and Obstetrics at Hospital da Senhora da Oliveira.
The session takes place in person at the Guimarães Swimming Pool Complex, totaling 3 hours of training accredited by the IPDJ-IP, within the scope of continuous training for Physical Exercise Technicians (TEF), attributing 0.6 credit units.
