The “Ative Miúdos” project, an initiative by Tempo Livre which aims to promote motor literacy, physical activity and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle for children aged 3 to 5, continues to grow.
A new collaboration protocol was signed on September 27th with the Pencelo Parish Council and the Pencelo Social Center, which will allow this program to be brought to more than 500 children who attend the Nuno Simões Nursery, Cooperativa Fraterna, Associação Salgueiral SARC, the São Dâmaso Social and Parish Center, the Nossa Senhora da Conceição Social and Parish Center, the Sande São Martinho Social and Parish Center, the Nespereira Social Center and the Pencelo Parish Social Center, in an active partnership, which involves also teachers and guardians, who are essential partners in the process of children's full growth.
The “Active Kids” project was born in 2021, when it reached around 300 children, and currently benefits more than 400. It is open to all institutions that work with children who attend pre-school education.
