'Giving Life to Life' arrives at the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit

'Giving Life to Life' arrives at the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit

With the new protocol, the Tempo Livre increases the scope of one of its missions – providing well-being through adequate physical activity. In September, 'Dar Vida à Vida' had its debut with the oncology and diabetology services, now it has arrived at the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit.

Within the scope of the protocol signed between the Tempo Livre and Hospital da Senhora da Oliveira, users of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit will be able to take advantage of physical activity classes taught by qualified teachers.

This initiative arises from the Sports Services of Tempo Livre, which with the 'Give Life to Life' project aims to contribute to improving the physical and psychological condition of users who suffer from heart disease.

The director of Sports Services at Tempo Livre, Pedro Ferreira, explains that 'Dar Vida à Vida' fulfills some of the established objectives, since the project has increased its social reach: “it is our intention to open the project to patients suffering from various pathologies, thus fulfilling an important social role".
